Caesars Palace is located in the “Center” of the Las Vegas Strip. They opened on August 5, 1966, and have a Roman Empire theme. It is the “flagship” property for the Caesars brand and are a AAA Four Diamond rated resort.
Caesars Palace has 3,980 rooms and suites in six towers. The Julius Tower is the original tower built in 1966. The Colosseum Tower opened in 1979, Palace Tower in 1998, Augustus Tower in 2005, Octavius Tower in 2012.
Nobu Hotel is a “Boutique” hotel in the former Centurion Tower of Caesars Palace that only has 182 luxury rooms that opened in 2011, and all rooms were remodeled in 2022.
The five-acre Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis has seven unique pools, including the Neptune pool that is open year-round. The Venus Pool is for guests over 21 years of age, and the Fortuna Pool offers swim-up gaming.
Caesars Palace also has Qua Baths & Spa, Hairdreams Salon by Michael Boychuck, fitness center, FedEx Office business center, Enterprise car rental, Appian Way Shops and five wedding chapels.
They have 130,000-square-feet of gaming space with over 1,300 of the latest slot and video poker machines. There are 185 table games in the casino pits with all the popular games including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker, Texas Hold’em Poker and more.
They also have several High Limit gaming rooms, 16-table Poker Room and a nice Caesars Race & Sportsbook. They are operated by Caesars Entertainment, and they use the Caesars Rewards loyalty card.

The Colosseum Theater has 4,300 seats and features top acts that have included Adele, Garth Brooks, Usher, Sting, Journey, Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart, The Who and others.
Caesars Palace also has the very popular show Absinthe that features wild and outlandish acts in a theatre-in-the-round.
They also have the very popular 75,000 square-foot OMNIA Nightclub that can accommodate over 4,000 guests. In 2026, the 46,000 square-foot OMNIA Dayclub and Skybar opened directly on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace features over 160 boutiques and restaurants with Roman-themed architecture. The Atlantis Show plays Thursday through Monday at the top of the hour from 12-8pm. They also have F1 Arcade with full-motion racing simulators and The Escape Game.
Caesars Palace has over 300,00 square-feet of flexible meeting and event space.
Fun Fact: Lots of people come to Caesars Palace and want to stay in room 2452, the room featured in the movie “The Hangover.” It was inspired by parts of the Forum Classic Emperor Suite, but the room you see in the movie was just a set built for filming.
Fun Fact 2: Daredevil Evel Knievel jumped over the fountains in front of Caesars Palace on New Year’s Eve 1967. He crashed, but the 141-foot motorcycle jump cemented his global fame.
