For 28 years, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR have terrified Las Vegas audiences. This Halloween season, the city’s longest-running haunted attractions, including all volunteers, return to Meadows Mall with new scenes, new characters, upgraded effects and sinister surprises designed to challenge even the most seasoned haunted house fans.
Opening Friday, Oct. 2, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR invite guests to enter two distinctly themed attractions connected by an original, immersive storyline found nowhere else.
Rather than presenting a series of unrelated rooms and monsters, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR transport guests into a fully developed world built around the twisted saga of two families whose lives become intertwined through tragedy, fate and unimaginable horror. Twenty years after the story’s original events, visitors will discover that the nightmare has only grown darker.
Each attraction features its own environments, characters and scares, while the interconnected storyline unfolds across both experiences. New rooms, elaborate props, detailed sets, special effects and unexpected encounters ensure that no two seasons — or visits — are exactly alike.
The attractions’ cinematic environments have also made ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR sought-after filming locations for movies, music videos, television productions and photography. Feature films including the “RUST” trilogy and “Immortal Wars” have used the detailed sets, showcasing the craftsmanship and realism behind the Las Vegas Halloween tradition.
Nationally recognized among America’s premier haunted attractions, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR have received honors and coverage including:
- Nevada’s Top Haunt by Parade
- Top West Coast Haunt by Forbes
- Features by USA Today, BuzzFeed, ScareFactor, HauntWorld Magazine, Best10.com and other national media outlets
ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR are located in the northwest parking lot of Meadows Mall near JCPenney, 4300 Meadows Lane.
Think you’ve seen it all? Think again. Step inside — if you dare.
SOCKTOBER Supports Southern Nevada’s Unhoused Community
This season, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR are turning October into SOCKTOBER by collecting new socks for unhoused residents throughout Southern Nevada.
Socks are among the most requested clothing items at homeless shelters, yet they are often one of the least-donated necessities because shelters generally cannot accept used socks for sanitary reasons.
Guests may donate new socks at any Slater’s 50/50 restaurant or at the ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR ticket booth. Each pair donated earns one entry into a drawing for four VIP tickets to experience ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR during Halloween weekend.
ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR Get “Scared Pink” Oct. 15
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR will present “Scared Pink” on Thursday, Oct. 15.
The campaign is especially meaningful because one of the attractions’ owners is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Guests who wear pink that evening will help support the fight against breast cancer, with $2 from each qualifying ticket donated to the cause.
Supporting Mental Health Through Paradise Ranch Foundation
For the past 13 years, ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR have supported Paradise Ranch Foundation, a locally operated nonprofit organization that provides community mental health programs through horse-assisted therapy.
