Uniquely Vegas is a series of articles and photos that VegasChanges.com is composing to showcase the many unique and offbeat things to see and do in the Las Vegas Valley, as well as day trips.
On this venture we are visiting two stores in the Showcase Mall on the Las Vegas Strip, next to the MGM Grand Resort & Casino. M&M’s World and the Coca-Cola Store. Are they worth a visit? Take a look below.
M&M’s World is a store that sells M&M’s candy and merchandise. This location was the first to open worldwide in 1997. There are now eight other locations, including New York City, Orlando, London and more.
This four story 28,000 square-foot store features M&M’s candy and souvenirs, including apparel, key chains, magnets, mugs and more. They also have many branded items only available in Las Vegas.
Guests can customize M&M’s with names, messages, or logos at the personalized printer station on 16 different colors of M&M’s candies. There are 14 iconic Las Vegas images available for the personalized printer, including the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, a deck of cards, wedding bells, and champagne.
In the past they had a 3D Theater with the film “I Lost My ‘M’ in Vegas”. That has been removed, but there are several places to take photos with M&M’s displays throughout the store.
M&M World is open 9am-12am daily. Official Site
The Coca-Cola Store sits below a 100-foot tall Coca-Cola bottle and has exclusive merchandise, including vintage Coca-Cola items, apparel, mugs, glasses, key chains, magnets, Polar Bear plushes and much more. The store features many one-of-a-kind items that can only be found at this Las Vegas location.
They also have the Coca-Cola Fountain on level two where you can order Coke Floats and sample 16 different international beverages with the “Taste of the World” beverage tray.
They have many displays to take unique Coca-Cola photos located throughout the store. They formerly had a museum on the second floor. That is gone.
The Coca-Cola Store is open 10am-10pm daily. Official Site
