Treasure Island Hotel & Casino Photos, Tips and Details:

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino (TI) opened October 26, 1993 and it has 2,884 rooms and suites, and many were renovated in 2019-2020. It has a Pirate Caribbean Theme. Treasure Island is owned and operated by Phil Ruffin and is part of the Radisson Hotel Group.

Tip: If you book a “Strip View” room, you will have some of the best views of the Las Vegas Strip, because of the location of this hotel on the bend of Las Vegas Blvd. Ask for a high room facing south that is not obstructed with the Mystère “wrap”.

They have several stores throughout the property, convention facilities, wedding chapels and the Oleksandra Spa and Salon that also houses their fitness center that features cardio and strength equipment. The outdoor heated pool is open from early March to late November, and they also have a 25-person hot tub.

The 95,000 square-foot casino has some of the latest slot machines and a full casino pit with Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Three-Card Poker, Let It Ride Stud Poker, Big Six and more. Tip: The odds and table limits playing table games at this casino are some of the best on the Las Vegas Strip.

They have a very nice non-smoking Race & Sports Book that was relocated in September 2020 into the space that formally had the Corner Market Buffet. They no longer have live keno and they removed their poker room in August 2018. They use the Treasury Players Club loyalty card.

Mystère by Cirque du Soleil has performed at TI since 1993. It is the longest running Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas. In early 2024, they opened The Cove Bar & Arcade with many games, bowling, golf simulator, air hockey and more.

Fun Fact: Treasure Island opened with a focus on family fun, including a pirate battle show the “Battle of Buccaneer Bay” and a 25,000 sq ft arcade. However, shortly after opening, executives realized that the resort’s heavy pirate theme did not appeal to people interested in a weekend getaway. The final pirate battle took place October 21, 2013 with the show “Sirens of TI”. The pirate ships remain in the front of the casino.

Tip: Treasure Island has free valet and self parking. RTC Bus Routes: DEUCE, 119 and 203
