The Freestyle Explosion returns to Orleans Arena on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Presented by Pacific Concert Group, the high‑energy show unites the genre’s legendary roots for a one‑night‑only event featuring the King of Freestyle, Stevie B, along with pop sensations the Cover Girls.

Singer, songwriter and producer Stevie B. was a primary architect of the Latin freestyle music scene of the late 1980s. He is best known for his Billboard No. 1 ballad “Because I Love You (The Postman Song),” as well as iconic party anthems like “Spring Love,” “Party Your Body” and “Dreaming of Love.”

The Cover Girls burst onto the scene in 1986 and dominated the Billboard charts with their massive pop hit “Show Me.” The group followed up their initial success with a string of dance-floor classics, including “Because of You,” “My Heart Skips A Beat” and “Wishing on A Star.”

The lineup continues with a sensational ensemble of freestyle, dance-pop and house legends:

  • Seduction, known as the New York “Club Queens” of dance-pop and house, is a legendary all-girl group who scored major crossover hits including “Two to Make it Right,” “You’re My One and Only True Love” and “Heartbeat.”
  • Connie, a Miami native and pioneer of the genre, is internationally recognized for her singles “Funky Little Beat” and “Rock Me,” both of which are considered definitive anthems of the freestyle era.
  • Johnny O is one of the best-selling Latin freestyle artists of all time, celebrated for his showmanship and hits like “Fantasy Girl” and “Highways of Love.”
  • George LaMond, a dynamic showman known for his smooth vocals, is best known for his Billboard debut “Bad of the Heart,” his No. 1 salsa smash “Que Te Vas” and his 2008 hit “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
  • Lisette Melendez, a leading diva of Latin pop and dance, reached the Top 40 with the hit “Together Forever” and continued her success with “A Day in My Life” and “Goody Goody.”
  • J.J. Fad is the first all-female rap/freestyle group to be nominated for a Grammy and an iconic Ruthless Records trio famous for their RIAA Gold-certified international hit “Supersonic.”
