The Tiki Bar is now open at Excalibur Hotel & Casino, offering a tropical escape within Las Vegas’ most famous castle. Inspired by the legend of the dragon “Murphy” said to slumber beneath Excalibur’s drawbridge, The Tiki Bar blends exotic island charm with primal volcanic energy and pirate-like adventure to create a den of drinking, discovery and revelry.

“The Tiki Bar represents an exciting, new addition to Excalibur and enhances the experience for guests visiting from around the world,” said James McBride, Vice President of F&B at Excalibur. “We’re proud to debut MGM Resorts’ first tiki concept in Las Vegas, allowing us to stretch our imagination in this castaway experience where every concoction becomes another part of the tale.”

Guests are invited to set sail for a new taste of adventure with the following offerings:

THE LAIR
Explorers enter The Tiki Bar through a thatched portal beneath a glowing lantern that casts the dragon’s fiery silhouette across the ceiling. Tiki totems stand as silent sentries, guarding relics salvaged from distant voyages, while exotic music drifts through the space like sirens luring sailors deeper into hidden coves.

A stage framed by stacked lava rock walls and flowing magma drapery sets the scene for live performances. From raucous island bands to sultry steel drum rhythms, the stage provides the soundtrack for nights of romantic odysseys.  The lounge unfolds with a treasure trove of textures and colors. Plush seating features mid-century tropical patterns, lizard green velvets and exotic prints ranging from leopard to peacock. Carved wood tables adorned with glowing tiki votives create pockets of warm, flickering light. Above, primitive lights crafted from repurposed flotsam sway gently, while gothic iron chandeliers tangled in wild tropical foliage cast dancing shadows across the room.

The heart of The Tiki Bar is its three-sided bar, a bustling hub for guests to order from inside the lair and retire to the lounge or access the merriment directly from the casino floor under a thatched canopy of lashed bamboo.
