
On Friday, May 23 the Bellagio Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip opened their Summer display for 2025, titled “Glam Menagerie: A Surrealist Summer”. It is located in the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden, next to the hotel lobby. Both day and night photos are posted.
By the numbers breakdown for “Glam Menagerie: A Surrealist Summer”:
- 125,000: Pounds of ivy weaved throughout the display
- 22,000: Potted plants, shrubs and trees
- 5,000: Square feet of boxwood sculpted into topiaries
- 120 feet: Total amount of live hedges throughout the display
- 80: Visionary artists, horticulturists and engineers collaborating to bring the summer display to life
- 20 feet: Height of the king chess piece in the West Bed17: Hanging lanterns illuminating the display
- 4: Playful flamingos in the East Bed
- 2: Giraffes draped in moss standing at 22 feet tall
- 1: Grand marble chess board in the West Bed
The Bellagio Conservatory measures 14,000 square-feet and they change the displays five times a year: Lunar New Year, spring, summer, fall and winter. The summer display will remain open until September 6, 2025. The Bellagio Resort has a horticulture staff of 120 that maintain the Botanical Gardens and the entire grounds of Bellagio.
If you visit the Bellagio’s spring display, be sure to also visit the Fountains of Bellagio located in the front of the casino. The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are open 24 hours a day and are a free attraction. The Bellagio Resort & Casino is operated by MGM Resorts International.
