International Smoke and Julian Serrano Tapas have both announced that they will be closing their doors permanently on the Las Vegas Strip. Both venues will transition into new food and beverage concepts anticipated to open in late 2025.
International Smoke
International Smoke by celebrity chef Michael Mina and cook/author/TV host Ayesha Curry will be closing January 19. It opened in December 2019 at the MGM Grand Resort & Casino.
After its closing, the only remaining location will be in San Francisco. Mina will continue operating five other Las Vegas Strip restaurants, including the recently opened Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons Hotel.

Julian Serrano Tapas
Julian Serrano Tapas at the ARIA Resort & Casino opened in December 2009 and will be closing February 1.
Chef Julian Serrano announced his retirement in 2024. He has since closed his Picasso restaurant and stepped away from Lago, both at The Bellagio Resort & Casino.
