Construction continues on a $35 million expansion at the off-Stip Ellis Island Casino Hotel & Brewery. They are also giving the existing casino and more a full remodel.
Recently they closed the Ellis Island BBQ dining room to add gaming machines. You can still order their great BBQ at Village Pub & Cafe, daily starting at 4pm.
On Monday, December 2, they closed the very popular Casino Bar, Metro Pizza and Via Focaccia. That area, as well as a large portion of the casino was boarded up.
The casino pit and many gaming machines were relocated near the cashiers cage. Table games remain open 24/7 with $5 Blackjack, $5 Craps with 10X odds and $10 Roulette.
Village Pub & Cafe remains open 24/7 and you can saddle up to the bars in the Karaoke Lounge or The Front Yard for your favorite beer, cocktail or to dine.
Ellis Island formerly had a Brewpub on-site. They still brew their own craft beers off-site at their Silver Reef Brewing Company, in St. George, Utah.
They are owned and operated by Gary Ellis and family.
