Many of the construction walls have been removed on two large projects taking place at the Flamingo Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Work started almost a year ago on both of these new concepts. Photos are posted below.
Pinky’s by Vanderpump
The former Flamingo Poker Room and a portion of the casino is becoming Pinky’s by Vanderpump. The 7,000 square-foot restaurant and bar will combine Art Deco glamour with sumptuous and decadent Vanderpump flair. It is named after Lisa Vanderpump’s nickname “Pinky”.
Work started slow on this project, but has really been moving quick lately. All of the construction walls have been removed, replaced with curtains inside and wire fencing outside. They are currently putting the final touches on it.
One major issue might be the street performers that hang out in front of this new high-end restaurant and bar. Some nights there are performers cranking the music break dancing and yelling into a microphone and other nights there is a 8-piece Mariachi band.
Lisa Vanderpump’s other Las Vegas locations are Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace and Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas.
The hours, menu and opening date have not been announced, but it should be very soon.
Gordon Ramsay Burger
The former Bird Bar space on Las Vegas Boulevard is becoming Gordon Ramsay Burger. The 8,000 square-foot restaurant features a large exhibition kitchen, island-style bar, multiple dining zones, Union Jack accents and dynamic flame displays throughout.
This new restaurant was scheduled to open in the summer, but it finally looks like it will be open soon. The construction walls inside the casino have been removed, replaced with curtains. The outside patio space remains boarded up.
This will be the second Gordon Ramsay Burger in Las Vegas. The first opened in 2012 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Chef Ramsay’s other Las Vegas restaurants include Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace, Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas, Ramsay’s Kitchen at Harrah’s Las Vegas and Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips at The LINQ Promenade.
