On Friday, September 13 the Bellagio Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip opened their annual Fall Harvest display for 2024, titled “The Garden of Time”. It is located in the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden, next to the hotel lobby. Both day and night photos are posted.
The Bellagio Conservatory measures 14,000 square feet and they change the displays five times a year: Lunar (Chinese) New Year, spring, summer, fall and winter. The fall display will remain open until November 9, 2024. The Bellagio Resort has a horticulture staff of 120 that maintain the Botanical Gardens and the entire grounds of Bellagio.
Just the numbers facts for “The Garden of Time” display:
- 675,000: Autumn-colored leaves throughout the display
- 2,600 pounds: Weight of individual pieces of manzanita wood used to craft the petrified wood creatures
- 749 pounds: Weight of the largest ghost pumpkin on display
- 475: White and green pumpkins inside the display
- 200: Natural crystals adorning the woodland fairies
- 8: Dragonflies gliding through the air above the garden
- 7: Clock faces throughout the display
- 2: Playful rabbits sculpted from petrified driftwood
- 1: Fairy treehouse standing 37 feet tall with a double waterfall
