MGM Grand Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip closed their High Limit Slot Room several months ago for a top to bottom remodel. They used a temporary space near the KÀ Theater during this time for high limit slots.
On Monday, they closed the temporary location to move the slot machines into the remodeled space. On Friday, the remodeled High Limit Slot Room was roped off so slot technicians could finish up. It looks like it could open within hours.
The new High Limit Slot Room is a private lounge with slot machines in $5, $10, $25 and $100 denominations. They have progressive slots for a chance to win over $500,000.
The remodel includes all new furnishings, draperies, carpet, lighting and more. They did not include a private bar, but they have dedicated cocktail servers and they also have private restrooms.
Two weeks ago, we reported Caesars Palace to expand and remodel High Limit Slots. That project is underway.
