Alto Bar at Caesars Palace Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip is closing for an expansion of their Palace Court High Limit Slot Room. Alto Bar is the largest bar at Caesars Palace and is lined with several private booths, 8 high definition televisions and 18 video poker machines.

Blue tape has been placed around Alto Bar where the construction walls will be built for the transformation of the space. It appears all of this will be taking place in the next few days.

On August 4, we reported Caesars Palace closed their WSOP Poker Room for a temporary location for High Limit Slots. The Palace Court High Limit Slot Room will close August 18 at midnight and will reopen in the poker room on Wednesday, August 21.

This is a large construction project that should take several months to complete. Caesars Palace stated that the WSOP Poker Room will return when the new High Limit Slot Room opens.

MGM Grand Resort & Casino have also been upgrading their High Limit Slot Room for several months. It should be reopening soon.
