Uniquely Vegas is a series of articles and photos that VegasChanges.com is composing to showcase the many unique and offbeat things to see and do in the Las Vegas Valley, as well as day trips and more.

On this venture we are visiting the Pinball Hall of Fame on the Las Vegas Strip. Is it worth a visit (see below)?

In February 2006, the Pinball Hall of Fame opened in Las Vegas as a non-profit museum by the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club. The games belong to one club member (Tim Arnold), that you can read about HERE. It is run by volunteers.

They were formerly located on East Tropicana Ave, but on April 15, 2021, they doubled in size in a brand new 25,000 square-foot location that features over 700 pinball machines from the 1950’s – 1990’s. It is the world’s largest collection of pinball machines, open to the public.

All machines are available for play, so not only can you see them, you can actually play your old favorites. The pinball machines are all restored to like-new playing conditions by people that love pinball and understand how a machine should work. You can play machines from the 1950’s to 1980’s for only 25¢ (1990’s 50¢) per game.

They are located across from the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign” and is a 15-minute walk from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. You can also take the Deuce RTC Bus. Self parking is free.

So, is it worth a visit? Yes. This is a great free attraction for all ages. If you love pinball, this is a MUST! Where else can you play a vintage pinball machine for only 25¢? Also, you are helping a good cause. This non-profit donates all excess revenues to non-denominational charities.

Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10am-9pm and Friday and Saturday 10am-10pm. Official Site
