On Thursday, July 25, Boyd Gaming announced that Cadence Crossing Casino will be built on the site of Jokers Wild Casino, on Boulder Highway and Warm Springs Road.
The 15-acre site is directly adjacent to the master planned community of Cadence, in Henderson, which will have 12,000 homes when complete. Cadence currently has 5,200 homes that have been built.
Cadence Crossing will feature a 10,000-square-foot casino with 450 slots, several dining options and live entertainment. Construction is expected to begin this year and finish by early 2026. The cost of this new casino was not announced.
Jokers Wild Casino will remain open through construction. After Cadence Crossing opens, Jokers Wild will close and be demolished. All employees will transfer to the new property.
Boyd Gaming’s future plans could call for additional casino space, a 114-room hotel and more amenities. No specific timeline has been announced on phase-two.
