The Mirage Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip officially closed on Wednesday, July 17. It opened 34 years ago, on November 22, 1989.
Since December 2021, The Mirage has been operated by Hard Rock International, which is owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Over the next three years, the property will transform into Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Guitar Hotel, in late 2027. The guitar tower will replace the Mirage Volcano and is scheduled to be 660 feet tall with 596 rooms. This will bring the total room count to 3,640.
Posted below are some photos we took of the final days of The Mirage Resort & Casino.
Good luck to the employees. RIP Mirage, you will be missed!
