On July 15, 2004, the Las Vegas Monorail started moving guests up and down the Las Vegas resort corridor. It continues to do so 20 years later, on a 3.9 mile overhead track with 7 stations. Since 2004, they have welcomed over 103-million riders.

Over the last two decades, the Monorail has become a key player in reducing traffic and helping the environment. Every year, it eliminates more than 2-million vehicle miles from Southern Nevada roads.

The Las Vegas Monorail actually began service as the MGM Grand-Bally’s Monorail in 1995, using two trains from Walt Disney World in Orlando.
