The Count Room Speakeasy at Flamingo Has Cool New Entrance – PHOTOS

The Count Room speakeasy in the rear of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at Flamingo Las Vegas Resort & Casino  changed the “secret” entrance this past week.

The top photo is the former sign showing guests how to enter The Count Room. That sign has been removed. It was a discreet door. (The new photos are posted below)

Now guests must enter a 1940’s style door that says Bugsy’s Private Office. It has venetian blinds and a letter that says:

“Lansky,

I’ll be in Los Angeles the next few days, me and Lucky are cooking up some business. The joint’s in your hands. Keep the place humming, but play it cool.

I’m counting on your smarts to keep the whispers going strong. Lay low, make sure they know Bugsy is always watchin’.

Your discretion is paramount to the Count Room’s success.

Bugsy”

This was a great move to make the speakeasy more “secret” and is a great improvement. Benjamin Siegel would never sign a letter “Bugsy”, he hated being called that.
