Waldorf Astoria on the Las Vegas Strip Making Some Major Changes

The Waldorf Astoria on the Las Vegas Strip is making some major changes some people may not like. The property, located in CityCenter opened as the Mandarin Oriental in 2009 until 2018 when it was rebranded.

The very unique 23rd floor hotel lobby will be replaced with a new 1st floor lobby very soon. They hope to finish this in September. All hotel rooms have been remodeled in the past year.

The very popular Sky Bar (on floor 23) has been renamed Hotel Bar. The French restaurant Twist by Pierre Gagnaire has remained closed since Covid. It will be replaced with a new restaurant concept, yet to be named.

They will be adding a new lounge called Peacock Alley.

As reported earlier, Whataburger and Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse will be coming to the former Bobby’s Burger Palace space this Fall.
