Ambra Italian Kitchen + Bar recently closed at the MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. It will be replaced with Luchini this fall.
From Tao Group: Tao Group Hospitality will bring a new restaurant concept to Las Vegas in 2023. Luchini is set to open at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino this fall, encompassing a casually refined Italian pasta and pizza parlor.
A refreshing take on a classic Italian-American restaurant inspired by the flavors of New York, the Luchini menu will highlight handmade pasta, pizzas, salads, and timeless dishes served in a welcoming and lively space. The adjacent pizza-by-the-slice shop echoes classic tri-state pizza parlors with a counter up front serving a variety of pizza offerings for those seeking a quick snack on-the-go or to satisfy a post-concert craving.
“As a native New Yorker, I’m excited to bring a fresh new Italian spot reminiscent of iconic New York mainstays to Las Vegas, the city I have called home since 2005,” said Jason Strauss, Co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality. “We are thrilled to expand our offerings at MGM Grand and continue to grow our relationship with the MGM Resorts team.”
MGM Grand President & COO Michael Neubecker said, “We know what the Tao Group Hospitality team is cooking up with Luchini is going to be a great addition to our culinary offerings. Whether it is a quick slice before or after a concert at MGM Grand Garden Arena, a leisurely dinner with friends or a late evening hang for cocktails and entertainment, the restaurant will welcome guests for a fun and lively Las Vegas dining experience.”
Tao Group Hospitality’s current locations at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino include Hakkasan Restaurant, Hakkasan Nightclub and Wet Republic, a dayclub.
