After 29 years, Planet Hollywood Restaurant Closes in Las Vegas

Planet Hollywood Restaurant, a Las Vegas institution for 29 years, closed its doors for good Wednesday afternoon, a representative confirmed. The restaurant stopped serving at 3pm on May 24, 2023.

This is not to be confused with the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. This restaurant was located in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.

Planet Hollywood Restaurant was owned by hospitality giant Robert Earl. The 30 employees are being offered jobs at other Las Vegas restaurants owned by Earl, including Brio Italian Grille at Town Square, Buca di Beppo (with 3 locations) and Earl of Sandwich, with several Las Vegas locations.

The restaurant was known for its TV and movie memorabilia, and such best-selling dishes as the Chicken Crunch Tender.

It looks like there are only four Planet Hollywood Restaurants that still remain. They are in Orlando, Los Angeles Airport, Malta and Qatar.

They have not announced what will replace this space at The Forum Shops at Caesars Place.
