Splash Fresca Bar at the Flamingo Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip has been open for over six weeks serving their refreshing alternative to the frozen cocktail. It is located on the walk from the Flamingo Casino to the Linq Promenade.
They were booze free, while waiting to be approved for a liquor license. That changed this past week, when their liquor license was approved.
Business partners Tony Ravelo and Matt Pinal are offering a simpler, less artificial take on the ubiquitous daiquiri that are full of high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavorings. Uh-Oh, Fat Tuesday Frozen Daiquiris (and many others).
Instead, they offer a selection of spiked aguas frescas with sixteen different drinks available (or you can mix it up). Everything is made from fresh fruits, cereals, and nuts, ingredients that are traditional in Mexican beverages, and they spike it with the liquor of your choice.
They will be adding a second location on the Las Vegas Strip in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort & Casino soon.
