Silverton Hotel & Casino will be closing the hotel rooms and suites for a major renovation. The project starts in April and should last for several months. The casino and restaurants will remain open during the remodel of the rooms.
Silverton Hotel & Casino opened in 1994 as the Boomtown Las Vegas. It changed names to the Silverton in 1997. It is located off Strip and has 300 rooms and suites. It has a rustic hunting lodge theme. This casino is very popular with Las Vegas “locals”.
They a full casino with the latest slot machines, casino pit and a very nice Race & Sports Book run by William Hill. They have many very good dining options and a 117,000 gallon Aquarium where Mermaids swim Thursday to Sunday. They have a large Bass Pro Shop.
