The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino has finished construction on the new Gallery Tower. When the tower opens on September 22, the property will have nearly doubled the room count to 1,124 rooms and suites. The Gallery Tower has 405 standard rooms, 67 studio units, 20 one-bedroom suites, and three presidential suites. The new Gallery Tower features art work throughout the building and the new valet is located directly below the tower.
In a statement from Downtown Grand General Manager Kevin Glass: “Since 2013, the hotel has been running at high occupancy levels, with a growing demand for more rooms from both leisure and business travelers. We remain focused on providing guests with an excellent experience, and when the new tower is completed, we will present what will be the newest room and suite product in the market.”
Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino is the former Lady Luck Hotel Casino. It received a top to bottom remodel from 2006 until 2013 when it was reopened as the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. It is considered a boutique hotel. Before the new Gallery Tower, the hotel had 629 rooms and suites in two towers, the Casino Tower and the Grand Tower. It is a Choice Hotel member and is in the Ascend Hotel Collection.
