UPDATED 8/17/2020: Target opened a ‘small-format’ store on the Las Vegas Strip. The 20,000 square-foot store is located north of the MGM Grand Hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard at the Showcase Mall. It was built from the ground up in the space that formally had a Smith & Wollensky Restaurant that closed in May 2017.
The new Target store opened on Wednesday, August 12. The Grand Opening will take place on Sunday, August 16. From Target: “It will have an assortment of essential and beauty products, tourist merchandise, apparel and accessories for men and women, as well as a grocery selection of grab-and-go food, beverages, and snacks. The store will also feature order pickup, giving guests the option to purchase online and pick up in store within an hour.”
The Target store will work well with foot traffic in that very busy area of the Las Vegas Strip. The shelves have been stocked and they are ready to go. The store looks very nice.
