Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has 2,056 rooms and suites. It is located center-strip. It opened in 1973 as the MGM Grand and from 1983 to 2022 it was known as Bally’s Las Vegas. On December 15, 2022 it was re-branded Horseshoe.

In July 2023, the former Jubilee Tower at Horseshoe became the Versailles Tower at Paris Las Vegas.

Tip: Horseshoe has the deepest swimming pool on the Las Vegas Strip and guests can also use the pool at Paris Las Vegas (sister property). Horseshoe also has a large tennis complex.

Tip: If you book a room in the Resort Tower, ask for a quiet room, high floor, not facing Flamingo Road. These rooms and suites were remodeled in 2018. If you want one of the best views of the Las Vegas Strip, book a room in the Resort Tower facing Flamingo Road. There could be minor noise issues with these rooms when Drai’s Nightclub is open at the Cromwell and traffic noise from Flamingo Road, but an excellent view.

The casino is “old school” Las Vegas and has over 700 slot, video poker and electronic gaming machines. The 42 table casino pit features all the popular games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow Tiles, Let It Ride, and more.

They have a 18-table Hall of Fame Poker Room, live Keno and a Caesars Sportsbook betting counter and kiosks. Horseshoe is owned by Caesars Entertainment and they use the Caesars Rewards players card.

In 2022, the World Series of Poker moved from the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino to Bally’s (now Horseshoe) and Paris Las Vegas.

They have several bars and lounges, including the Indigo Lounge that is a great place to watch sports. They also have the Lobby Bar, Sully’s Casino Bar, Blu Pool Bar (open seasonally), Purple Zebra Daiquiri Bar and the Arcade Bar. Another great place for a cocktail is the Cabinet of Curiosities with The Lock Speakeasy.

Fun Fact: The Jubilee Showroom has 1,033 seats and was home to the longest running production show in Las Vegas – Donn Arden’s Jubilee, that closed in 2016.

The Jubilee Showroom currently has the show “DITA LAS VEGAS: A Jubilant Revue” that opened in October 2023. They also have the Imagine Showroom, that was formerly called the Magic Attic and Windows Showroom that seats 300-people on the second floor, with several shows nightly.

BattleBots Destruct-A-Thon is performed several nights a week behind the Horseshoe. Located downstairs is Real Bodies at Horseshoe that is open daily 10am-7pm (last tour is at 6pm). Dino Safari is open daily 10am-8pm (last tour is at 7pm).

They also have Twilight Zone by Monster Mini Golf that opens daily at 12pm (closing hours vary). In 2022, they added The ARCADE with over 70 games that opens at 10am daily (closing hours vary).
