When it comes to gay destinations, Las Vegas isn’t exactly Miami, San Francisco or Palm Springs, but there are many places to go and things to do.

The best gay bars tend to be beloved dives, many of which are located in the “Fruit Loop” – the actual name of Vegas’ gay bar district just east of the Strip. But on and off Strip, you’ll find fun and open-minded bars, clubs, events, variety shows and entertainment that warmly welcome the LGBTQ+ community, even if they don’t explicitly cater to it.

LGBTQ+ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning. These terms are used to describe a person’s sexual orientation or gender. Below is a list of bars and nightclubs that cater to that community in a positive way in Las Vegas.
