Hoover Dam Lodge is a hotel and casino located near Boulder City, Nevada. It is surrounded by the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, 3 miles from the Hoover Dam and 30 miles from Harry Reid International Airport.
It opened in 1958 as the Gold Strike Inn, and in 1999 it was rebranded The Hacienda Hotel & Casino. In 2013 it was purchased by Nevada Restaurant Services, parent company of the statewide chain of Dotty’s slot parlors. It became the Hoover Dam Lodge in January 2015, after a complete refurbishment and the theme is “rustic lodge”.
The hotel has 372 guest rooms with no resort fee, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a flat screen TV. They offer pet friendly rooms.
They have an outdoor pool and hot tub that is open seasonally and a fitness center.
The casino has 20,782 square-feet of gaming space with over 300 slot and video poker machines.
This casino is unique, as it is separated into different “themes”, including Bourbon Street with a New Orleans theme, La Villita with a Mexican theme and Red Dragon with an Asian theme.
On the Points Casino floor every slot machine has a multiplier running all day, every day. You can use your points for instant cash or redeem them for a present on the prize wall. They also have a Dotty’s on site.
