SAHARA Las Vegas is a hotel and casino on the far north end of the Las Vegas Strip. It was known as SLS Las Vegas from August 2014 until August 29th, 2019. Prior to that, it was the Sahara Hotel and Casino from 1952 to 2011.
It is owned by the Meruelo Group, a Certified Minority-Owned Company. Their slogan is “The Strip Starts Here”.
They have 1,720 rooms and suites in three towers, the Alexandria, Blanca and Marra. The Alexandria rooms are rated AAA Four Diamond and has a roof-top pool that is open year-round. They also have The Pool that is open from March to September and is free for hotel guests and Las Vegas locals 21+.
They also have Amina Spa, fitness center, business center, Enterprise car rental and two stores.
The casino has 60,000 square-feet of gaming space that completed a full remodel in 2019. It has 600 of the latest slot and video poker machines.
The 50-table casino pit offers all the popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker and more.
They also have High Limit gaming and a William Hill Sports Book. They use the Infinity Rewards players card, that can also be used at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada (sister property).

The adult male review show Magic Mike Live is performed in their own state-of-the-art theater. They also have the SAHARA Theater that seats 743 and features different entertainment acts.

Fun Fact: The Sahara hosted The Beatles during their 1964 Las Vegas visit, where slot machines were moved into hotel rooms to keep them safe from fans.
