“Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” is a Facebook event currently planned for September 20, 2019 at Area 51, a United States Air Force facility within the Nevada Test and Training Range, to raid the site in search for extraterrestrial life.
The event was created by Matty Roberts who confirmed it was comedic and that he won’t be held responsible for any casualties if people actually attempt to raid the military base.

- The original plan was for people to meet up at the Area 51 Travel Center in Amargosa Valley.
- The meeting spot was changed to Rachel, the town nearest Area 51.
- The travel center is about 70 miles from Area 51.

- Eric Holt, emergency manager for Lincoln County, said the area is bracing for the event and the possible influx of people tied to it.
- TMZ cited anonymous Nevada law enforcement officials who said government agencies are closely monitoring the reaction to the post, saying anyone found trespassing would be “arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of local and military law”.
- A public information officer at Nellis Air Force Base told KNPR that “any attempt to illegally access the area is highly discouraged”.
- Bud Light plans to release a promotional alien-themed beer label and promised a free beer to “any alien that makes it out” as long as a tweet with the new design gets 51,000 retweets.
- Arby’s has planned to deliver food with a special menu to the event.
- Fun Fact: Janet Airlines has a large and highly classified fleet of passenger aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force to transport military and contractor employees to the Nevada National Security Site (including Area 51) from a private terminal at McCarran International Airport. Some of the Janet planes are Boeing 737-600 aircraft painted white with a red stripe.
