The former Monte Carlo Resort on the Las Vegas Strip, was rebranded to Park MGM in late 2018. Basically, everything has changed. They removed the poker room and sports book and added many new restaurants. In a unique move, MGM Resorts International (owner) decided to not replace the Race and Sports Book.
They instead put in Money Line Sports Bar & Book. This appears to have failed and they will go with a new concept. Construction curtains have been put in place this week and the entire area has been gutted. Photos are posted below. Money Line Sports Bar & Book opened the week of March 12th, 2018 and closed the week of July 14th, 2019.
Sports bets at Park MGM can be currently made at a temporary location at the cashiers cage or on your mobile app. It is unknown at this time what they will do with the space. It sounds like they will go with a more traditional Sports Book. Time will tell on this? It is scheduled to reopen in Mid-August, possibly under another name, just in time for NFL Football.
