There were many changes in Las Vegas over the past week on the Las Vegas Strip. Below the changes are posted with photos. It was a slow week with the 4th of July falling on a Thursday.
Venetian Main Pool Reopens
The Main pool at the Venetian Resort closed in September 2018 for major repairs and a remodel. It reopened on July 3rd. The photo below shows the construction cranes that will be removed soon. Sorry, no photo of the remodeled pool, yet.
Three New Bars & Restaurants Open Next to the Planet Hollywood Resort
These locations are located on the second floor on the walk from Planet Hollywood to cross to the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas or to cross Harmon Ave along the Las Vegas Strip. Breeze Daiquiri Bar will be open very soon. Pizza D’Italia and Pretzeland are now open.
Reba and Brooks & Dunn Play the Last Show at Caesars Colosseum before a major remodel
On Saturday July 6th the final show was performed by Reba and Brooks & Dunn, before the Caesars Colosseum closes for a major remodel. The venue will shut down totally, with the next scheduled show Rod Stewart’s performance on Sept. 18.
Hyde Nightclub at the Bellagio Resort Closed For Good July 6th
A replacement nightclub will be announced soon. The new nightclub is scheduled to open in late 2019.
Mama Rabbit Mexican Restaurant at Park MGM – VERY EARLY SNEAK PEAK Photos
Mama Rabbit is scheduled to open later this month. It looks nice.
Sprinkles Cupcakes CLOSED at the Linq Promenade
On July 5th Sprinkles Cupcakes closed at the Linq Promenade. It opened in 2014. They plan on adding two new locations on the Las Vegas Strip. The new locations were not announced.
