On Saturday March 16th the Bellagio Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip opened their spring display for 2019. It is located in the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden and it is titled “Japanese Spring”. Both day and night photos are posted below.
The Bellagio Conservatory measures 14,000 square feet and they change the displays five times a year. Winter, Chinese New Year, spring, summer and fall. The spring display will remain open until June 15th. The Bellagio Resort has a horticulture staff of 120 that maintain the Botanical Gardens and the entire grounds of Bellagio.
From Bellagio: “This magnificent display highlights the beauty of spring in Japan. Begin your journey in the East Bed, stepping through two large torii gates. The East Bed features a row of cherry blossoms, which represents the beauty and brevity of life.
Moving to the North Bed, you will immediately notice two beautiful red-crowned Japanese cranes. These are designed after the famous Japanese painting, 100 Fountain Views of Edo-Hiroshige Cranes 1857.
The highlight of the spring display is waiting on the West Bed. Here, you will find a towering replica of the Osaka Castle. The Osaka Castle is one of the most iconic and historic castles in all of Japan. It has been chosen to host the 2025 World Expo, with MGM Resorts Japan as a proud supporting partner. We hope you enjoy the 2019 Spring Show. Thank you for visiting the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.”
If you visit the Bellagio’s Japanese Spring display, be sure to also visit the Fountains of Bellagio located in the front of the casino. TIP: The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are open 24 hours a day and are a free attraction. They are located next to the hotel lobby.
