It appears they have finished the changes at LEVEL UP at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.  They removed a lot of the gambling inside LEVEL UP back in September and a large portion of the space remained unused.

LEVEL UP presents a new era in interactive, skill-based fun that features pay-to-play offerings in a social atmosphere, designed to not only attract the next generation of players, but existing players seeking innovation.  In addition to video gaming, LEVEL UP offered Black Jack, Craps and Roulette as well. That was removed  and has been replaced with tables, chairs and couches.  It is now a great pace to watch sports on four large flat screen TV’s, as well as more TV’s at the bar.

LEVEL UP continues to offer Pool Tables, Video Games, Bowling, Arcade Games, Virtual Reality, Bubble Hockey, Ping Pong and more.  They also have a full bar called ‘Live Lucky Bar’ with 24 craft beers and a specialty cocktail menu.   There are a few slot machines that remain, as well as Video Poker at the bar, but the live gaming has been removed.  They currently feature:

Mondays
Karaoke
8:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Thursdays
Spandex Nation (Live Band) and Live DJ
10:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Fridays and Saturdays
Live DJ

Sundays
Rusty Lee
9:00 PM – 12:00 AM

LEVEL UP is a 12,000-square-foot venue located between the Hakkasan Nightclub and the MGM Grand Race and Sports Book, in the former spot the Rainforest Cafe occupied a few years ago.  The MGM Grand Resort is owned by MGM Resorts International and LEVEL UP is run by the Hakkasan Group.
