Fremont Street Experience

Photos, Tips, Attractions, Times and Details about the Fremont Street Experience:

The Fremont Street Experience (FSE) is located in Downtown Las Vegas. It is a pedestrian mall and attraction with a light show and live entertainment. The FSE starts at Main Street and ends at Las Vegas Blvd.  The hotel casinos that pay for the FSE are Binion’s Gambling Hall, California, Circa, The D, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget and Main Street Station. The FSE opened in 1995.

The Fremont Street Experience has three stages with live bands, dancing DJ’s and more. Most of these are “cover” bands and many are very good. Some of the bands have included Spandex Nation, Monroy, Alter Ego, ’90’s Station, Crush, Garage Boys, Tony Marques, Zowie Bowie, Wonder Boogie, VCB, Empire Records, Rock Steady, Roxy Gun Project, Blue String Theory, Velvet Elvis, Atomic Radio, Stays in Vegas and many more.

Several times a year they have big name bands that play. An example of this would be when the National Finals Rodeo comes to town each December. They will feature Country Music bands on all three stages. The stages are on Main Street, 1st Street and 3rd Street.

The Viva Vision light show is an LED display on the “canopy” that runs along the Fremont Street Experience from Main Street to Fourth Street. It features different shows at the top of each hour from 6pm to 2am.

Current Viva Vision shows include: Imagine Dragons, Stone Temple Pilots, Katy Perry, Shakira, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, MIXology and Tiesto – A Town Called Paradise.

Because of the recent upgrade of the LED screen, programming now runs 24/7, for the first time in the history of Viva Vision. The Viva Vision screen is 1,375 feet long, 90 feet wide and suspended 90 feet above Fremont Street’s renowned pedestrian mall. Official Website LINK

The FSE has the SlotZilla Zipline that is a 12-story slot machine-inspired attraction. You can take the Zipline that starts off 77 feet up. Flyers will be in a seated position and land halfway down the FSE pedestrian promenade, between the Four Queens and Fremont casinos.

There is also the Zoomline that takes off more than 10 stories up and takes flyers 1,750 feet, all the way down the FSE. The upper Zoomline sends flyers prone, or “superhero-style”. Flyers travel down the zip lines at up to 35 miles per hour.
