Main Street Station Casino Brewery Hotel opened with new ownership (Boyd Gaming) in 1996. It opened as the Holiday International in 1978. That failed, and in 1987 until 1990 it was named Park Hotel and Casino. It has a Train Station/Victorian theme.
The hotel tower has 406 rooms and suites and guests can use the rooftop pool at the California Hotel & Casino (sister property) from an enclosed skywalk connecting the two properties. They also have a 72-space RV Park on a five-acre lot that offers both 30 and 50-amp full hook-up sites.
The casino has both old and new gaming machines. The casino pit is open Friday to Sunday from 9am-1am and features Blackjack, Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker and Let It Ride. Their loyalty program is Boyd Rewards. For Sports betting and Live Keno take the skywalk to the California.
Tip: You can get a brochure to show you the many antiques located throughout the casino at the bell desk or reception. You can pee on an actual piece of the Berlin Wall and see some great antiques on the second floor. Ask security to visit the second floor and women can go in the men’s restroom (with security escort) to see the Berlin Wall.
Dining options are limited at Main Street Station, but the two options are very good.
- Triple 7 Restaurant and Microbrewery (American)
- Garden Court (all-you-can-eat buffet)
Boar’s Head Bar is open 24/7 and is a great place to grab a drink or you can visit Triple 7 Brewery where you can choose from six varieties of the freshest hand-crafted beers in Downtown Las Vegas.
Main Street Station, as well as the other Boyd owned casinos Downtown cater to Hawaiian visitors. The hotel is usually about 70% full of (generally) older Hawaiians, and that is a good thing, because they are pure Aloha.
Fun Fact: Triple 7 opened in 1996 and was the first microbrewery in Downtown Las Vegas. It has won numerous awards over the years.
Fun Fact 2: The Garden Court is the only buffet in Downtown Las Vegas.
Free self-parking is available to hotel guests. If you dine or gamble you can get your parking validated. See the B Connected booth for details. RTC Bus Routes: DEUCE and CX
