The Cromwell is a “boutique” hotel & casino located “Center Strip”. It is the former Barbary Coast that opened in 1979 and Bill’s Gambling Hall (2007-2013). Caesars Entertainment (owner) did a complete remodel and the property reopened as the Cromwell in 2014. It features 169 rooms and 19 suites.
They have 40,000 square-feet of gaming space with 66 tables in the casino pit. They feature 440 of the latest slot and video poker machines. A very small, but nice Caesars Sportsbook was added in 2017. The Cromwell uses the Caesars Rewards Players Card.
The Cromwell has very limited dining options, that include:
- Eatwell (American)
- Giada (Italian) Tip: Make reservations for Giada well in advance. This is a very popular restaurant.
The Cromwell has Drai’s Beach Club and Nightclub as well as Drai’s After Hours. They have two very nice lounges, the Interlude Casino Lounge, that has dueling pianos Thursday to Sunday and Bound Cocktail Lounge, near the hotel lobby.
Fact: In 2020 while the Cromwell was closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic the CBS-TV show “Love Island” was filmed there with very strict safety protocols put in place.
