Bellagio opened on October 15, 1998, and has 3,933 rooms and suites in two towers, Bellagio Tower with many rooms having fountain views and the Spa Tower. Tip: Turn your TV to channel 22 to hear the audio of the Fountains of Bellagio.

Bellagio is pure luxury with an Italian theme. They are a Marriott Luxury Collection Resort and are a AAA rated Four Diamond Hotel.

They have five outdoor swimming pools and four whirlpools in a stunning Mediterranean-style courtyard with elaborate sculptures. They keep at least one pool open year-round.

Fun Fact: Steve Wynn, who designed the Bellagio, intended for it to be called Beau Rivage in the beginning.  Beau Rivage means “beautiful shore.” Wynn and his wife went on a vacation to Lake Como in Italy. While on a boat there, they went by the village called Bellagio, which means “a place of elegant relaxation.” After finding out the meaning of Bellagio, Wynn decided that it would be named Bellagio. With 3,933 rooms, the Bellagio hotel has more rooms than the number of residents in Bellagio, Italy.

Fun Fact 2: The World’s largest chocolate fountain by Guinness World Records is located in the Bellagio Patisserie.

Tip: There is a free tram from Bellagio to ARIA, Park MGM and The Shops at Crystals. There is also an indoor walkway to Vdara and The Cosmopolitan. RTC Bus Routes: DEUCE, CX and 202
