Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Photos, Tips and Details (including the Miracle Mile Shops):
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is located on the “Center” of the Las Vegas Strip. It has 2,567 rooms and suites. All rooms were remodeled in 2017. The Scene Pool Deck offers two separate pool decks, two pool bars, cabanas, daybeds and the Strip’s first professional free-standing wave, the FlowRider.
Planet Hollywood opened as the Aladdin in 1966 and was demolished in 1998 to build the “new” Aladdin that opened in 2000. That failed in 2007 and it was re-branded Planet Hollywood. It is part of the Caesars Rewards Program and is owned by Caesars Entertainment. The theme is Hollywood, California.
The casino is large and attracts a younger crowd. They have many of the latest slot and video poker machines and a Caesars Race & Sportsbook. The table games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, Let It Ride, Three Card Poker and more. On weekends, they have the “Pleasure Pit” with sexy dealers and dancers.

Fun fact: The Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino was very popular, until they decided to reduce the size. This happened after a major flood from a broken water pipe in the showroom on the second floor (now the Criss Angel Showroom). They remodeled and re-branded Planet Dailies into Cafe Hollywood, but they decided not to reopen the entire former Spice Market Buffet. It reopened at about half the size, but has not reopened after Covid-19.
The Miracle Mile Shops is a large indoor shopping mall, with many stores, restaurants in all price ranges, bars and showrooms.
Fun Fact: Back when Planet Hollywood used to be the Aladdin Hotel, Elvis and Priscilla Presley got married there on May 1, 1967. How cool would it be to say you tied the knot at the same location as the King of Rock ‘n Roll?
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is also connected to the Elara (Hilton Grand Vacations) and PH Live, which features many top name acts and seats 7,000 guests.
