The Mirage Hotel & Casino is a resort in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. It features a South Pacific theme and it has 3,044 rooms and suites. Tip: While you're checking-in, take a look at the 20,000-gallon saltwater aquarium behind the front desk. When the Mirage opened in 1989 it changed Las Vegas forever, becoming the largest hotel in the World (at the time). It was built by Steve Wynn and is now owned by MGM Resorts International. Tip: It has a very nice pool complex including "Bare" where guests can go topless.The Mirage casino has 100,000 square-feet of gaming space with many of the latest slot machines.
